Insulate and heat up your fabric structure

There are several approaches to maintaining an even temperature in your fabric structureWe offer a number of different solutions that you can read about here.

Heating

A heated fabric structure can be important, not least during the winter months. When the normal canvas is not sufficient enough to create the desired climate, we offer flexible insulation solutions. The simplest variant is to supplement the outer canvas with an inner canvas that is fitted on the underside of the steel frame. This solution provides good protection against condensation and has a certain insulation capacity. If you want to have proper heating or cooling in the fabric structure all year round then you should supplement it with a heating or cooling source. For additional control over the temperature in the fabric structure we recommend some form of fan solution. We primarily use two fans as a heat source in our fabric structures: aero fans and air-based heat pump, preferably in combination with ceiling fans that push the hot air down to the floor level in the tent and help to circulate the air with an even flow.

Insulation

Sometimes an insulated fabric structure is the solution. Many times, our insulation technology is sufficient to maintain a comfortable year-round temperature. The most common solution for a well-insulated fabric structure is to use our inner canvas and supplement it with a layer of insulation. One of the major advantages with this method is that the insulation is protected on the inside of the fabric structure and retains its insulating function as it does not risk being compressed together by e.g., a snow load and losing its insulation value.
