EHL Prolist invests in a new warehouse and fixes up an old one

EHL Prolist, distributor of battens within the Swedish building trade, needed a new warehouse after their old profile warehouse began leaking water.

Their subsidiary had recently acquired a fabric structure with which they were satisfied. EHL Prolist then obtained quotations and chose Hallbyggarna Jonsereds as supplier. We were chosen as supplier largely because they are very satisfied with the fabric structure we delivered to the site 20 years ago.

In conjunction with building the new fabric structure, the old fabric structure has been upgraded with a new canvas. This means that it will be able to be used for many years to come.

EHL Prolist’s words about the projects involving the fabric structures

Interview: We have conducted a short interview with Storage facility Manager John Glimdevi, who has been involved in this project.

Can you explain the background for the project? Why did you need a fabric structure?

The old building leaked and we needed a new profile storage facility.

What was the reason why you chose a fabric structure as a solution?

Our subsidiary has a fabric structure with which they are incredibly happy. We chose to get quotations for building our fabric structure after theirs was completed. Plus, we also have a fabric structure that you delivered here 20 years ago with which we are very satisfied.

Why did you choose Hallbyggarna Jonsereds as the supplier of the fabric structure?

Much of the reason is because we are satisfied with the fabric structure that has been in its place for 20 years.

Are you satisfied with the delivery of the fabric structure?

We are satisfied with the delivery and everything has worked great.

How do you think the communication with us has worked?

It has worked extremely well! We have had a close dialogue with regular contact to get all of the elements to work. If any obstacles or delays have turned up, they have been able to be solved. Something we pushed extremely hard for was that you would stick to the schedule because other contractors were on site at the same time.

You have also replaced the canvas on your old fabric structure. Why did you do that?

As I said, the fabric structure is 20 years old and was therefore in need of a new canvas so that it could continue being used.

Is there anything you would like to add about the project?

No, nothing special.
